The Ang Family started the original Point-Point Joint in National City, California. under the management of Rebecca's brother, Boy Ang, William and Rebecca Tan LEARNED THE INS AND OUTS OF THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS and In 1988 the tan's decided to open up Point-Point's first location in Los Angeles. In 2003, the couple decided to expand and open their second location in l.a.'s historial filipinotown.
Point-Point is the English translation of the Filipino term, "turo-turo." Turo turo restaurants are a concept developed in the Philippines which offers home cooked dishes with fast food service. for over 30 years point-point joint has been serving traditional filipino breakfast, lunch, Dinner TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND offering a little piece of THEIR HOME TO YOURS.
